Marie Cecelia Elisha, age 73, of Garland, Texas, passed away July 2, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She was born September 27, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl and Cecelia Godin Elya.
Marie was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Ann Elisha; her parents; and three brothers, Carl Elya, Leonard Elya and Bill Elya.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Jerome Elisha, Sr.; three sons, Jerome Elisha, Jr., Richard Elisha and his wife, Kathy and James Elisha; daughter, Suzie Adams and her husband, Alan; seven grandchildren, David Elisha and his wife, Neomi, Jennifer Reed, Stephen Adams and his wife, Emily, Nicole Howell and her husband, Jeff, Jennifer Farrar and her husband, Rob, Angela Pecina and her husband, Greg, and Ashley Howell; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Marie was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Ann Elisha; her parents; and three brothers, Carl Elya, Leonard Elya and Bill Elya.
