Maria Clara Herrera

Maria Clara Torres Herrera, 67, of McKinney, Texas passed on to eternity the morning of Christmas Eve 2019. She was born July 23, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Remigo and Rebecca Paz Torres.

While growing up Maria helped in keeping the home and raising her siblings until she met and married her love Julian Herrera and they raised a family of their own. Her children say that she was an amazing cook and also spoiled them with tasty baked goods. Maria kept a lovely home and could also be found sneaking away to enjoy scary movies and telanovelas throughout the day. She was a light-hearted jokester who enjoyed family time especially getting together with her dear sisters.

Maria is survived by sons, Felipe and John; daughters, Matilda and Angelita; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is recently preceded in death by husband Julian and son Julian Jr.
