Marguerite Thelma Tollestrup

Marguerite Thelma Tollestrup, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 31, 2023, in Allen, Texas. She was born on October 4, 1930, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel William Tollestrup, her brothers Albert, Gerald and William Hall. She is  survived by her three children, Elizabeth (Keith) Tyree, William (Marika) Tollestrup and Katherine Grassi, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.  

Marguerite was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and her deep and abiding love for her family. Marguerite was an avid crafter enjoying crocheting, sewing, ceramics, stained glass, flower arranging, and painting. She was always ready to share her skills with others. Marguerite will be missed by all who knew her.
