Marguerite "Peggy" Louise Guarnacci, 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on January 13, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.
Born May 29, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to George and Catherine (Tobin) Swan, she attended Los Angeles State College and Saint Vincent's College of Nursing and practiced as a registered nurse. On July 16, 1955, she married Frank Joseph Guarnacci in Los Angeles, California and was married for over 55 years. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church of Allen and enjoyed many years as a volunteer at the Heard-Craig Museum and the Humane Society of North Texas. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by, her daughter Lisa Nicol and grandson Preston Nicol of Lucas; son Tobin Guarnacci and wife Sukonthip, and grandchildren Dominic and Nathida
Guarnacci of Seoul Korea; and son James Guarnacci of Fairview, as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
She is preceded by her parents and husband.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Charles Smith Funeral Home in McKinney Texas on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and a Mass will take place at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen Texas. Interment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery.
