Margie Nona Hood

Born August 15, 1929, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012. Margie was born in Shelby Mississippi to Herbert and Blanche Reynolds. On November 6, 1948 she married George Hood Jr. After moving to Texas, she enjoyed her job managing a school cafeteria in the Richardson Independent School District.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, spouse George, and brother, Tim Reynolds. She is survived by her son George "Buddy" Hood & wife Janet, daughter Cindy Taylor & Dub Cantrell, grandchildren Leah Redmond (Mike), Rodney Taylor, Tiffany McCullers (Mark), Ben Nix (Erin), and Bethany Hood; great grandkids Glenn Borgne, Luke Taylor, Autumn Garrett, Brycen Ortega, Chaney Ortega and Averie Nix; sisters Leland Ford, Bonnie Dillistone and Freda Ganci. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Service and interment will be at Dallas "Fort Worth National Cemetery on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 1:15 PM, lane "B". In lieu of flower, the family requests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Margie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her entire family with all that her heart could give, and she will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
