Margaret (Peggy) Newman
Born December 12, 1942 in, El Paso, Texas.
After a long battle with Lewy Bodies Dementia, Peggy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, in Sachse, Texas, with family by her side.
After a 33 year career with State Farm Insurance, she retired in 2006. She was a talented doll artist, a proud grandmother, a loving mother and wife. She had a kind heart and was always giving to those in need.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to one of Peggy's favorite charities, St. Jude Hospital.

Peggy is proceeded in death by her Parents Archie Vyrl Victor and Margaret Rebecca Victor (McGuire).
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Garland Newman; daughters Kimber Rovito and Karen Newman; son-In-law Rick Rovito and daughter-In-law Linda Jackson; grandson Nicholas Rovito; sister Diana Gentry; six brother and sister-in-laws; twelve nieces and nephews; fourteen great nieces and nephews; and four great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, at 12:00 p.m. at Charles W Smith & Sons. 2343 Lake Rd. & Hwy 78 in Lavon, Texas.
Purple was Peggy's favorite color. Join us in wearing purple or bright colors to celebrate her life.
