Margaret Virginia Hedden

Margaret Virginia Hedden, of Murphy Texas, passed away on January 12, 2021 at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas Texas.
She was born on January 1, 1928 in Farmington Illinois, the daughter of Delbert and Bernice Sutton. On November 20, 1949 she was united in marriage to Delbert Lee Hedden, who proceeded her in death on March 31, 2003. Also proceeding her in death were her parents and one brother, Harold Sutton.
Surviving are one daughter, Traci Hedden Kerr of Cassville Missouri and one son, Brian Douglas Hedden of Murphy Texas, one sister, Juanita Albee and one brother, Dr. Alan Sutton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandsons.
Margaret graduated from Farmington High School and after graduation attended beauty college in Peoria Illinois. Margaret worked as a hairdresser until 1960 when she and Delbert adopted their daughter Traci. Brian was adopted 4 years later in 1963.
Margaret was an avid gardener that loved to work out in her yard. She was an intelligent, strong and loving woman. She was fiercely dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed by us all.
