Marciana Lansang Samper

Marciana Lansang Samper, 96, passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018 in her home in Wylie, Texas with her daughter Marge Turano by her side. Marciana was born on July 21, 1922 in Santa Rita, Pangpanga, Philippines to parents Juana Cuenco and Severino Lansang. Maricana married Ricardo Samper in 1940. Ricardo preceded Marciana in death.
Marciana (Lola Sen), a fantastic cook, and seamstress shared her talent with everyone. She loved to laugh and have fun playing mahjong. Above all, Marciana was a woman of strong faith, praying without ceasing even in her last moments. She loved her family passionately and nurtured all relationships. We will all miss her regular phone calls to catch up with the happenings of our lives.
Marciana is survived by her brother Rolando Lansang, Daughters Marge Turano and Lu Parch (Fred), Grandchildren Cliff Parch (Jen), Jon Parch (Nora) and Jo Alamares (Karl), and Great Grandson Peter. Marciana is also survived by many Nephews and Nieces.
Her final resting place will be in the columbarium at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. The date of inurnment will be following the 12:00pm mass on January 20th.
