Maggie Lue Goodwin

Maggie Lue Goodwin of McKinney, Texas passed on to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning of July 9, 2020. She was born February 3, 1941 in Wolfe City, Texas to parents Buster and Ester Lue Elder Armstrong.

Maggie was a devoted wife and mother who worked as a seamstress. She also belonged to the Church of God in Melissa, Texas.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters; Virginia Goodwin and Fiance John Paul Staggs of Wolfe City, Laura Jeffcoat (Bryan) of McKinney, Lisa Goodwin of Leonard, and Lue Ann Mounger (Michael) also of Leonard, a brother; Ruben Armstrong of Oklahoma, 2 sisters; Addie Mae Tidwell of Sevens Point and Elizabeth Monroe of Kemp. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Maggie is preceded by her husband Billy Ray Goodwin, a daughter Belinda Neal Smith, her parents Buster and Ester Armstrong, 2 sisters; Annette Mayo and Edna Blackwell, and 2 brothers; Richard and Luther Tom Armstrong.
