He was born October 24, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to parents Luther S. Sr. and Ruby Faye (Gunter) Wafford who have preceded him in death.
Luther worked as a diesel mechanic during his working life.
He is survived by his children; Lisa Lawrence, Scott Wafford and his wife Ginnette and Sherri Wooten and her husband Donnie, and five grandchildren; Amber Sanders, Kevan Lawrence, Tabatha Wooten, Garrett Wafford and Gillian Waffard.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2 P.M. Friday April 1, 2011 at Charles W Smith and Sons Sachse Chapel, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050
