74, born September 22, 1937 in Ivanhoe, Texas and passed away February 11, 2012 in Sachse, Texas. Luke served in the United States Navy and retired from GTE after 34 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Opal McEuen; and two sisters, Earlene Lazelle and Juanita Seale.
Luke is survived by his wife, Paula McEuen; son, Wilbur Smith and his wife, LaVerne; daughter, Debbie Fulton and her husband, David; two grandsons, Derek Fulton and Drake Fulton; two brothers, Melvin McEuen and his wife, Judy and Kenny McEuen and his wife, Ellen; two sisters, Donna Smith and Cheryl Workman and her husband, Chris; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, February 13, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas with Graveside Service to follow at 1:00 P.M. in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, Texas 75090.
The family would like to give special thanks to Melvin McEuen and his wife, Judy, Dub Cantrell, Harold and Mary Sharpe, Bill and Ann Young, and George Miller for their special efforts and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in his memory to Hospice Select, 9550 Forest Lane, #511, Dallas, Texas 75243.
