Louis Earl Ridings

Louis Earl "Butch" Ridings was born on September 23, 1946 in McAllen, Texas and passed away on December 25, 2017 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 71.He was a veteran of the Army based in Okinawa as a logistics supply specialist during the Vietnam Era. Throughout his life there is one thing that stands out to all who knew him:he was one-of-a-kind with a giving heart. Butch gave his all to anyone needing help. He loved the outdoors and time at the lake, spending mornings at White Rock reading his paper, and living life to the best that he knew how to.Butch leaves behind his best friend, Tooter his dog.He was preceded in death by hisfather, John DecaturRidings, and mother, AleneRidings.Butch is survived by: his brother, Johnny Ridings;his sisters, Barbara Pettit, Linda Georgoulis, Debra Johnson and Carol Gatlin, all of the Dallas area;as well asmany nieces and nephews.
