Lora Dale Bollier

Lora Dale Bollier, age 74 of Princeton, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1942 in Diboll, Texas to Milton and Loretta (McCarty) Staton. Lora married Kenneth Bollier in 1961 in East Texas, and they were married for more than fifty years before he preceded her in death. She worked for Classic Plumbing as a receptionist for many years before retiring. Lora was a fabulous cook, and she loved to go fishing with Kenneth. She was a very caring person, and everyone that met her would say what a kind and sweet person she was. She was a hard worker, and Lora provided well for her family when her husband was ill. Lora made her mark in this world, and her family and friends will forever cherish her memory and hold her in their hearts.

Lora is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Bollier and wife, Stephanie, and Steve Bollier and wife, Tammy; five grandchildren, Greg Sullivan, Tiger Bollier and wife, Stephanie, Kevin Bollier and wife, Crystal, Clint Bollier and wife, Jennifer, and Chris Bollier; eight great-grandchildren, Colton, Summer, Katelyn, Steven, Kamryn, Emma, T.J., Zack, and Sydney; three sisters, Sue Pounds, Ann Thigpen, and Sarah; and one sister-in-law, Jan Staton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Loretta Staton; her husband, Kenneth Bollier; three sons, Robert Bollier, Charlie Bollier, and Jeffrey Bollier; two grandchildren, Kenny Bollier and Monica Bollier; one great-grandson, Lance Bollier; one brother, Charles Staton; one sister, Irene Southern; and one brother-in-law, John Pounds.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 660 E. Hwy 380, Princeton, Texas 75407. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Chapel in Princeton with Rev. Kenneth Whittle officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.
