Linda Laverne Youngman

Linda Laverne Lambert Youngman passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on January 7, 2022 at the age of 72 years. Linda is remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and lover of all animals.

Linda was born June 3, 1949 to Cleveland and Martha Lambert in Dallas, Texas and was raised in the Lake Highlands area with her older brother Perry.

Linda graduated from Lake Highlands High School and attended El Centro Community College in Dallas. She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald (Ron) Youngman, and together they raised their family in Garland, Texas.

Linda was a stay-at-home mother for many years until she entered the workforce as a pre-school teacher at Canyon Creek Day School. Later, she joined Portion Pac, which was later purchased by H.J. Heinz, as the front office manager. After 18 years in the corporate world, Linda retired to focus again on spending quality time with her family.

In the late 90's, Ron and Linda moved to Sachse to be closer to their first grandchild. This was just the beginning of Linda starting a new chapter as an
extremely active and loving grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially the grand and great-grandchildren. She loved to take
family trips, especially to the beach, and spent hours making family heirlooms including crocheted baby blankets, quilts, and Christmas stockings. She loved to read, especially memoirs, and had a deep love for animals from her many dogs and cats to adopted birds, squirrels, rabbits, and many other backyard
visitors.

She is preceded in death by her first-born son, Ronald Deen Youngman, Jr; father, Cleveland L. Lambert; mother, Martha M. Lambert; and brother, Perry Lambert.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald D. Youngman, sons J. Brent (Barbara) Youngman and Bryan (Lisa) Youngman, daughter Desda Montgomery (John), grandsons Justin (Caree), Tyler, Parker, Clayton, and Weston Youngman and granddaughters Ashlyn and Aubrey Youngman, and Lexi, Shelby, and Riley Jo Montgomery, great-grandson, Lucas Youngman and great-granddaughter Dakota Youngman
(due in February 2022).

Memorial Services will be held January 12, 2022 at 12:00pm (noon) at Charles Smith & Sons Funeral
Home in Sachse, Tx. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery immediately following.
