Our precious mother, Linda Mary Wyatt, age 76, went to be with our Lord on January 31, 2024. She was born on November 28, 1947 to William and Ruby Rogers of Princeton, Texas.
She was a devoted, dedicated mother and loving nana, who was retired after working selflessly for most of her life. After retiring, she spent the rest of her days enjoying quality time with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Princeton and was known by many for watching their children in the nursery. She loved to cook and have family gatherings. To hear her say it, her greatest reward was being, Nana.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Athey and her husband Doug of Princeton; Kristy Andrews and her husband Scott of Murphy; Keisha Phennel and her husband Larry of Princeton; six grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Medaris, Stephanie (Walter) Athey, Corey Hall, Keith Phennel, Levi Phennel, and Gigi Garcia; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Paityn, Mila, Eli, Alayna, Franny, and baby girl (Medaris) to arrive in June; one brother William Joe Rogers and wife Linda of Princeton, several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Hunter Baird; three sisters, Katheryne Jenkins, Delores Jeffcoat, and Matrina Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6th at Charles W. Smith and Sons in Mckinney, Texas. Interment will follow at the Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Texas.
