Linda L. Foster, 77, of Farmersville, Texas passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1947, in Greenville, Texas to Harold B. and Louise Tornblom.
Linda was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her compassionate and welcoming heart. She spent her life as a passionate follower of Christ, raising her family in North Texas and working as a cosmetologist and wig stylist. Among her proudest accomplishments were being a wife of 59 years, raising three children, volunteering as a teacher at church serving the next generation, and helping cancer patients style wigs and head coverings.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carl E. Foster, Sr., her children, Melissa (Foster) Bennett, Carl Jr. and Christy Foster, and Doug and Michelle (Foster) Ewing. Grandchildren, Cecil and Alexa (Foster) Gonzales, Brandon and Grace (Bennett) Russell, Koren Ewing, and Logan Foster. Great grandchildren, Avery, Stella, Vance, and Leland, along with numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Louise Tornblom, her brother, Keith Tornblom, and granddaughter, Faith Foster.
She will be remembered for her love of Christ, love of family and friends, and her willingness to serve others with a loving and kind spirit.
A funeral service and celebration of life will be held at Charles W. Smith on February 26th at 1 p.m. with a visitation from 12 to 1 p.m.
