OBITUARY
Leonor "Nora" (Garza) Biscarro of McKinney, age 79, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Medical Center of McKinney with family by her side. Nora was born in McKinney, Texas on January 27,1936 the daughter of the late Manuel and Herlinda Garza.
Nora was an active member of Holy Family Episcopal Church McKinney. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother. One of the fondest family memories is of her singing and dancing in the kitchen. She loved to be surrounded by her family and was a light to many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Manuel Garza II, Antonio Garza, Anselmo Garza; sisters, Adelaida Munoz, Lydia Mata, Elvira Cortez, Estela Sanchez, Evangelina Lopez; and grandson, Isai Contreras.
Nora is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carlos Olvera Biscarro Sr.; their children, Delia Contreras, Selia Garcia, Gracilla Munoz, Carlos Biscarro II, Adam Biscarro and Maria DeLeon; their 15 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 1 sister, Esperanza Gallegos and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom she loved very much.
A chapel service will be held at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 601 S. Tennessee McKinney, Texas 75069 on Friday at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expy. N, Allen, TX 75013. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8:00pm in the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.
