Leon Taft Martin

Leon Taft "Lee" Martin, Jr. of McKinney, 65, passed away on August 2, 2012. Lee was born September 1, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joyce, his brother-in-law, Paul Whitehouse and his wife Cheryl. Lee served honorably in the United States Army. Lee's carpentry work was always perfection and very creative. Dear friends, neighbors and his clients will miss his great sense of humor, wonderful stories, caring, thoughtfulness and compassion. He took pride in the quality of his carpentry business and he was dedicated to his craft. Lee touched so many lives and his memory will live on. We all loved him dearly and will miss his big heart. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McKinney Food Pantry or a charity of your choice.
