Lee Roy Phillips

Lee Roy Phillips, age 76, of Wylie, Texas, passed away June 8, 2015 at his home in Wylie. He was born February 7, 1939 in Goldsmith, Texas to Robert Roy and Thelma Sadie McGrew Phillips.
Lee Roy served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired after twenty years of service from Kraft Foods in Garland, Texas. Lee Roy enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors, but most of all, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother, Bobby Cozby; and half-sister, Juanita McAtee.
Lee Roy is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Louise Phillips; two daughters, Sherri Stoel and her husband, Tom and Shanna Thomason and her husband, Shane; three grandchildren, Alison Stoel, Rowdy Thomason and Ryleigh Thomason; and other family members.
