Laurence MacDonald

Laurence "Larry" MacDonald, age 75 of Garland, TX, passed away on October 25, 2016 in Dallas, TX. He was born on February 25, 1941 in Melrose, MA. Larry married Darlene Bussiere on March 1, 1979 in Fitchburg, MA. He lived in Garland for 38 years and worked for Hill and Wilkinson for 18 years. Larry was a member of A.B.C (American Building Contractors) and C.E.F. (Construction Education Foundation). He taught first and second year plumbing and safety for 20 years. Larry loved to play golf and poker, but his family was his first love. They will never forget his sense of humor, and his presence in their lives will be greatly missed.Larry is survived by his wife, Darlene MacDonald; four sons, Richard MacDonald and wife, Pam, Scott MacDonald, Michael Cuddy, Jacob Cuddy and wife, Heather; eight grandchildren, Christpoher MacDonald, Josh MacDonald, Kevin MacDonald, Moxie Cuddy, Phelan Cuddy, Erinn Cuddy, Rowan Cuddy and Pierce Cuddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dennis MacDonald and brother, Robert MacDonald.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Chapel in Sachse. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
