Laura Ann Thomas

Laura Ann (Senkel) Thomas, age 68, born in Houston, Texas on July 17, 1945, passed away on August 25, 2013 from injuries sustained in a fatal car accident while driving to church.
Laura was an active member of East Fork Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas and a retired bookkeeper. She was an avid craftswoman, involved in knitting, crocheting, needle pointing, and sewing. Although she prized her handiwork, she delighted in giving them away. She enjoyed singing with her husband at church and doing crafts with her grandchildren. Family was important to her, as evidenced by the effort she put forth to keep up with many members of her family. She served her husband faithfully and will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Henry and Flora Dell Senkel.
Laura is survived by son, Richard Rosemond, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Allen, Texas; daughter, Loraine Yandell and her husband, David of Lucas, Texas; three brothers, Jimmy Senkel and his wife, Reaona , Randy Senkel and his wife, Hope and Jerry Senkel; 22 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
