Larry Granville Brimmage

Larry Granville Brimmage, 78, of Farmersville, TX passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2019. He was born to Granville and Gladyne Brimmage on December 29, 1940. He married Linda Glover on December 12, 1964. Together they built over 54 years of memories.

He was preceded in death by a son, Marty; parents; mother-in-law Mildred Merworth and father-in-law Otts Merworth.

He is survived by his wife Linda Brimmage of Farmersville, TX; son and daughter-in-law Ashley and Jennifer Brimmage of Farmersville, TX; grandchildren Lindy, Mark, and Lauren Brimmage of Farmersville, TX; sister and brother-in-law Charlotte and David Brittian of Roxton TX; and niece Lauren Taylor and her husband Forrest Taylor of Frisco, TX. Larry had many other relatives and numerous friends in Farmersville and surrounding communities.

Larry graduated from Roxton High School in 1959. He worked over 55 years as a long haul freight operator before retiring as owner/operator of L&L Trucking in Farmersville. He was a member of Shepherds Hill Lane Baptist Church in Leonard, TX, and a member of the Garland Masonic Lodge.

A memorial service lead by Pastor Tim James will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday September 13, at 5984 County Road 1133, Leonard, TX 75452.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Shepherds Hills Lane Baptist Church building fund.
