L. Ray Cundiff

Leland Ray Cundiff, 90, passed away on September 6, 2019. He was born January 5,1929 in Dallas, Texas and was a life long resident of Dallas except for his years of service in the Army.

Ray had several careers over his lifetime including a top salesman for Pearl Beer, owner of a grocery store on upper Greenville Ave., home construction and built and owned several real estate properties. After retiring he enjoyed spending most of his time at his farm in East Texas with his dogs. He loved his family, friends and dogs very much and enjoyed his life.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Marilyn Cundiff and children Debbie Martin and husband Keith, Linda Johnson and husband Randy, Susie Maret and husband Charlie, Barbara Williamson and husband Ronnie, step-daughter Cynthia Young, sisters Sue Hodges and Phyllis Flowers, grandchildren Ryan, Jarred and Adam Martin, Nathan and Amanda Johnson, Chris and Michelle Maret, Jeremy Williamson and Merideth Adams, Billy Ray Jarrad, Eric Angell, great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Millard and Rosa Lee Cundiff, brothers Millard "Junior", Gene, R.W. "Dub", and Donald Cundiff. Sisters, Ila Faye Funk, Norma Brooks and Mary Allen.

In lieu of flowers donations may be to St. Jude, Scottish Rite of Dallas or the charity of your choice.
