Kristy Lee Mraz

Kristy Lee Mraz passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2025 after a short illness. She was 42 years old. Kristy was born on January 10, 1983 in Dallas, Texas to Kris Ian Mraz and Linda Lee Mraz. Kristy graduated from Naaman Forest High School, Garland, Texas in 2001. She graduated from Wade College, Dallas, Texas in 2009 with an Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising and Design with honors as Valedictorian of her class, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and Outstanding Portfolio Fashion Design Award. After graduation from Wade College she was a successful designer of cheerleader clothing and accessories then transitioned to a web site development role for major automotive companies.

 Kristy was very athletic. She was a cheerleader and played on her High School fastpitch softball team and also competed on a travel fastpitch softball team and a competitive gymnastics team. As an adult she continued playing softball with many co-ed teams. These are the things she loved. Her bubbly personality made it easy to be friends with Kristy. She loved to laugh and would be goofy at times to make others laugh.

 Kristy is survived by her father Kris, mother Linda, brother Colton and her son Jeremiah.

 A visitation of family and friends is scheduled on January 24, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 PM with funeral service at 2:00 PM at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home located at 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, Texas 75048.
