Kirk Michael Ray

May 5, 1968 — July 4, 2016

Born in Dallas, TX, Kirk spent most of his life in the DFW area. He grew up in Allen, TX, and had many friends in the Allen Eagle Escadrille throughout high school. After a time at college, Kirk turned his passion for cars into a reality as a racecar driver. He spent time with his dad working on and building his car and then Saturday nights racing at dirt tracks, mostly in Ennis, TX. Then came children and his energy quickly shifted to the new challenge of fatherhood.

He had a love of music and recently became a self-taught guitarist which allowed him to share that passion with his children.

Kirk followed in his father’s footsteps with a career in the Manufacturing Industry where he designed and created machine parts for innovative technology like a drone camera used to film “Walker Texas Ranger” with Chuck Norris.

Kirk’s greatest legacy is his boundless love for his children. Anyone who knew him could tell you the same.

Kirk was preceded in death by his mother, Kerrick, and brother, Craig. He is survived by 3 children: Jared, Nathan, and Hannah; and his father Mike.
