Kimberly Ann Curry

August 7, 1966 — September 19, 2019

God looked around his Kingdom and found an empty place. When he looked down upon the Earth, he saw her tired face. He knew that she was suffering, He knew she was in pain. He knew that she would never get well on Earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed her eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine."

Kimberly Curry, 53, passed away on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at Methodist Richardson Hospital after a long battle with liver disease. She was born on August 7th, 1966 to Jim and Mary Crank. She grew up in Garland, Texas with her older sister Machelle Sontheimer and younger brother Keith Crank. During her life, she gave birth to three children; Brandon 33, Brittany 31 and Brett 29. She was the loving grandmother and "mee-maw" to six grandchildren.

Kim loved music, and her spirit was as free and flowing as the music notes that calmed her soul. She loved to cook and was famous to friends and family for her Chicken Enchiladas… and although a popular competition among friends, no one could ever seem to get them just like hers.
She stayed at home while her children were young, playing movie theater and enduring the Texas heat for endless hours during sporting events. She had three biological children, however many friends of theirs remember her as "mom" because of her nurturing and gentle nature.
"Your beauty should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in the sight of God." 1 Peter 3:4
