Kevin Lloyd Butler, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on October 3rd, 2011, at the age of 51. He was born May 23rd, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas to Garland and Shirley Butler, the eldest of five sons. His father Garland Don Butler and brother Kerry Don Butler preceded him in death.
Kevin was a hard worker. He plumbed for seventeen years. He loved sports. He loved golf, fishing, bowling, baseball, and life. His heart was pure, loving and clear. He survived an arduous battle with cancer that ruined his body but didn’t touch his spirit. The world lost one of the best souls God has ever created and he will be missed so much.
Kevin is survived by his wife Paula of fourteen years and his son Kyle of McKinney, his mother Shirley Butler of Mesquite, sister in law Kerri Dee and her daughters Lindsey and Cydney, brother Kelly Butler and his wife Gail of Linden and sons Clint Eaves and wife Kelly Michelle and Adam Luce and wife Lisa, brother Kory Butler and his wife Mirna of Mesquite and their children Katie and Kolton, and brother Kacy Butler and his wife April of Lindale and their children Brooks, Wyatt and Rebekah. In addition he is also survived by his sister and brother in law Pam and Gary Cobler of Richardson and their son Judd and his wife and daughter. Lastly, Tara Sunshine, if you ever have a chance to read this know that your father tried as hard as he could to find you and wanted to meet you till the very end.

Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
