Age 78, passed from this life in Garland, Texas April 2, 2011, Kenneth was born June 16, 1932 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to parents, Kenneth H Stamps, Sr and Annie Kathrine (Morris) Stamps who have preceded him in death.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Kenneth received his Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas graduating at the top of his class. He is a member of the Thi Beta Pi Fraternity.
He worked in the electrical engineering field until his retirement from Rayethon in design and electrical engineering.
He was the center of attention with his jokes and good humor. He loved golfing and was a very good pool player that probably help finance his education through college.
He married his dear wife, Cynthia (Kirby) Stamps, July 17, 1971. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Cynthia Stamps, son Mitchell Stamps and his wife Laurie, daughter, Vicki Baldwin, grandchildren; Scott and Kelly Baldwin and great grandchildren; Lexi and Trystin Baldwin. sister, Dorothy Ann Stamps and brother, William F Stamps.
MEMORIAL CELEBRATION will begin at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, 801 W Avenue B, Garland, Texas 75040 Phone: 972-272-3471.
