Kenneth(Ken) Jerome Brenner, 86, of Dallas, TX. passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Ken was born on July 25, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN. where he graduated from South Sr. High.
He entered the US Army Air Force in January of 1945.
After his military service he moved to the Dallas TX area where he lived most of his life.
He worked in general aviation maintenance throughout his career.
Ken enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, ocean cruises, travel, water skiing and trips to the casino.
He was not the typical Do It Yourself kind of man. His projects included building his home in Richardson, additions to his homes, building garages and a boat dock to name a few. He was fond of his cats and always had 1 or 2.
Ken was preceded by his wife; Marie Gladys Brenner, father; Joseph Brenner, mother; Margaret Brenner, and brothers; Don, Eugene and Claude Brenner.
Ken is survived by son; Kenneth Jerome Brenner Jr. of Milford NH, son; Michael Joseph Brenner of Lucas TX, daughter; Mary Margaret Brenner Collins of The Colony TX, son; Daniel Milburn Brenner of Garland TX, stepdaughter; Jaymie Louise Fiscus Sims of Dallas TX, sister; Lucille Heinz of Minneapolis MN. brother; Robert Brenner of Apple Valley MN. brother; Ralph Brenner of Minneapolis MN. 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Eastgate Funeral Home Garland, TX.
Inurnment, with a short Flag Ceremony, will follow at 1:00 PM at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas TX.
