Justin James Robert Wright

Justin James Robert Wright left this world too early for us all at the tender age of 19 years. He was in a car accident on the way home from work Tuesday evening, March 27, 2018, at approximately 8:00 p.m. in Collin County, TX, and he passed away from this world at Parkland Hospital, Dallas TX, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 2:11 a.m., due to injuries sustained from the accident.

Justin was born on November 7, 1998, in Dallas, TX. He grew up in Wylie, TX, during his primary and middle school years, attending Cox Elementary, Harrison Intermediate, and Burnett Junior High Schools. He completed his freshman and sophomore years at Wylie East High School, then moved to the Nevada area and received his diploma with the graduation class of 2017 at Community High School. He was currently a student at the Lincoln College of Technology, Grand Prairie, TX, on his way to earning an Associates degree as an automotive technician.

Justin was a cub scout during elementary school with the local pack in Wylie, TX. He loved to play sports, enjoying soccer and football, but the sport he loved the most was baseball. From coach pitch to little league, skipping t-ball because he told his daddy that he was too big for that and he wanted them to throw the ball at him, then on to UIL middle school high school baseball, enjoying every second of the sport. After graduation, Justin was playing on two softball teams with friends from school and church. He made every effort to show up for the Community HS practices and games this Spring, speaking to the players with words of encouragement and support. When Justin wasn’t attending school, going to work or the local baseball games, he could always be found with the love if his life, Brittney Burk, who is in the junior class at Community HS. Justin attended the Life Spring Church in Fate, TX, with the Peters family regularly, even helping with the construction of their new building.

Justin Wright leaves behind his father and mother, grandparents, siblings, cousins, and a large host of other family members and friends.

The visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Charles W. Smith Funeral Home, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, TX, 75048, (972) 414-5050

The graveside funeral service has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the Lake View Cemetery, 2343 Lake Road, Lavon, TX, 75166, (972) 853-0808
