Julian Hernandez Herrera of McKinney, Texas passed away February 12, 2018. He was born April 12, 1945, in Lockhart, Texas, to Felipe and Majidia (Hernandez) Herrera.Julian found the love of his life, Maria Torres, and they were united in marriage in 1969 in McKinney, Texas where they would continue to grow as a family. Julian and Maria always shared a rare and beautiful love...he absolutely worshiped and adored her. Julian was also an amazing father to his children, and loved them unconditionally.Julian made his living in masonry as a bricklayer. He was a member of Templo Pentecostal in Princeton, Texas, and had also been baptized in the Pentecostal church. Julian was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He was also what you would call a "foodie", and had an ucanny sense of taste for all types of recipes.Julian was preceded in death by his parents.Julian is survived by his wife; Maria, children; Julian Jr., Felipe, John, Matilda, and Angelita Herrera, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A visitation will be held at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
