Juanita Winsett

February 6, 1925 — October 21, 2017

Juanita Winsett went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2017. She was born in Tidwell, Texas on February 6, 1925 to the parents of Morris Carpenter Beddingfield and Mary Edna Becton Welborn. She was a member of the Saturn Road Church of Christ for many years. Juanita graduated from Greenville High School in 1942 and attended business school for 2 years. During WW II she worked at Hagars Pant Factory for the war effort. She met J.W. Winsett in 1945, they married April 21, 1946 and were together for 63 years. In February 1952 they moved their family to Garland, TX. Juanita and J.W. opened Winsett Bookkeeping and Tax Service in 1954. She retired at the age of 89. After 63 years the business was closed. Juanita is survived by, daughter Linda Rushing, sons James Winsett and Larry Winsett, daughter Kay Winsett, 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Virgil Winsett. The family wants to thank Dr. Kanti Agrawal, Dr. Thai Nguyen, Dr. Anthony Nguyen, Dr. Musa Varwani, nurses at Baylor Garland and Sam Remo. A special thanks to Ann Bryan and family and Sherrie Mason and family for their unconditional love over the years. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday October 24,th at Charles W. Smith & Sons Sachse, Services will be Wednesday October 25, at Charles W. Smith & Sons with Gary Bingham officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Charles W.
