Juanita passed from this life on November 15, 2011 in McKinney, Texas where she was born on August 30, 1918 to George Lonnie and Jenny Mae Welsh Miller.

A life long resident of McKinney, Juanita was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church in McKinney which her grandfather, T. A. Miller helped to found. "Aunt Sissy," as she was known to many, has been a member of the church for 87 years since her baptism at age 6. She will be truly missed by her family and her church family.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jenny Miller, brother Floyd "Bud" Miller, sister Mary Carol and niece Glenda Damesworth.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister Helen Coker, nieces and nephews Nita Eubanks, Terry Miller, Donna Roader and husband Eddy, Cindy Dennis and husband Michael, Robert Damesworth and wife Peggy, Linda Walker, Brenda James and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel, 601 S. Tennessee Street in McKinney, Texas, 972-562-7788.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church, 3849 FM 1827, McKinney, Texas, 972-542-0715. Interment will follow in Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney.
