Age 84, went to be with Our Lord March 13, 2011 in Mesquite, Texas. Joyce was born September 22, 1926 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia to parents, William and Molly Mae Robinson.
She grew up in Kayford, West Virginia and moved to Kentucky in 1959. Later she and her family moved to Carlinville, Illinois, then made another move back to Kentucky before coming to Texas. Joyce was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Illinois, taught Sunday School and was the church organist. She supported her children's education as a member of the Parent, Teachers Association. When Joyce moved to Texas she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garland, Texas. She was also a member of "Just Us Girls" club.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters; Beth Mydill and husband Marc and Lisa Riffey and husband Roger, grandchildren; Molly Katlin Riffey and Jordan Cole Riffey, sister, Emma Clark and husband Riley.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Frazier Eads whom she married September 5, 1947, parents, William and Molly Mae Robinson and sister Sissy Holbrook and husband Ray.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 16, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Garland, Cockrell Chapel, 801 W Avenue D, Garland, Texas 75040. Reverend Jack Schmid will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christian Care Center Hospice, 1000 Wiggins Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75150 or the First Baptist Church of Garland, Organ Fund, 801 W Avenue D, Garland, Texas 75040.
