Joseph Samuel Carter

Joseph Samuel Carter, Jr., 74, of McKinney, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was born on December 24, 1940 in Newport News, Virginia to his parents, Joseph and Martha Mildred Carter. Joseph is survived by his wife, Nancy Carter; children, Kimberly A. Carter, Nathaniel J. Carter and step children, Kirt Decker, Kraig Decker and Kristina Decker Leach with two step granddaughters; grandchildren, Austin Storm Magilton and Taylor L. Carter; sisters, Jewel D. Laveau of Laurel, MD and Carolyn Seemann of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Jimmy Carter of Centreville, VA and Kenneth Carter of Woodbridge, VA. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Carter; step father, William Miles; and daughter, Michele L. Carter. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, 1995 FM Road 546 McKinney, Texas 75069. Brother Brent Van Sickle will officiate.
