Joseph Donald Barnes

Joseph Donald Barnes, 65, of Pensacola, Florida passed April 7, 2019.

Joseph was born to Matthew and Flossie Barnes, February 7, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from Escambia High School in 1972. He married Stephani Green in 1981.
He leaves a legacy of 5 children: Jessica McCoy (Zach McCoy), Jody Barnes (Kim Barnes), Robby Barnes, Jeannie Barnes and Jamey Barnes (Elizabeth Barnes). He also leaves to cherish his memory 10 grandchildren, and his siblings Jeannie Hardy (Bob Hardy) and Jim Barnes (Darlene Barnes). His children remember him as a friend to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Flossie Barnes and his father, Matthew Barnes.

Joe was a sales representative for Masco Corporation and he was passionate about connecting with people and showing God's love. Visitation is on the 11th of April at Charles W. Smith & Sons in Lavon, Texas. A Funeral Service is scheduled for the 12th of April, 3:30PM at New Hope Church, Wylie, Texas. A graveside ceremony will be immediately following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at Pancan.org. Joe was an amazing son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.
