Joseph Ricky Auzenne

Joseph (Joe) Ricky Auzenne was born August 6th 1961 and passed from this life on the evening of December 23rd after a gradual decline in health. He lived in Texas for the majority of his life, but was born in Church Point Louisiana to the parents of Vincent and Mary Auzenne. Joe received his education in Plano Texas. After highschool he went on to pursue a career in customer relations and eventually acquired a position with Exxon Mobil as a customer service representative.

Joe cared deeply for his family, friends and love ones. He loved nothing more than to sit and watch hours of his favorite movies and took every opportunity to boast and brag on his children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen. Joe was a friend to many, loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Mary Auzenne, his brother James Auzenne, his son, Bryan Pleasant and his daughter Marquichya Carroll (Lonnie); as well as his eight grandchildren, Bryanna Pleasant, Sethin Pleasant, Jayden Pleasant, Jayla Pleasant, Bryan Pleasant Jr., Nevaeh Carroll, Pierre Carroll and Hurmiyonnie Carroll. He was preceded in death by his father Vincent Auzenne and his son Jerborlon Auzenne. He will also be lovingly remembered by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.There will be a Memorial Service for Joe Auzenne Saturday January 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel 1910 Eastgate Drive Garland, Texas 75041.

"Don't Quit"

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
Its when things seem worst that you must not quit.
