John David Wood

October 10, 1967 — October 31, 2017

John David Wood, loving husband, father, son, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2017. John was born on October 10, 1967 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He grew up in Plano and then later in Sachse. He attended Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, where he met his future wife, Amy.John was a gifted and talented man. John enjoyed coaching soccer when his boys were young, vacationing at the beach, and spending weekends at the lake with his family. He loved gardening and the outdoors. On July 26, 2017, John unexpectedly lost his twenty year old son, Jack. This was a tragedy of unexplainable proportions. His heart was broken and never recovered.
