John Edward McCormick, 69, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 in McKinney. He was born May 10, 1943 to John and Dorothy McCormick. He was a carpenter in the Construction Industry. He served in the U. S. Army. He was married 36 years to Chrystal Faye Lander McCormick. He fought lung cancer for four years.
He is survived by: Wife; Chrystal McCormick of McKinney, Texas; Daughters: Misty Palmer of Sherman, Texas; Tiffany Murff of Dallas; Theresa Stanley Grubbs of Waurika, Oklahoma; Son: John Arthur Murff of Dallas, Texas; 4 Granddaughters: Wendy and Elizabeth Palmer of Sherman; and Summer Lee and Laray Grubbs of Waurika, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by son: John Edward McCormick, Jr.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
