John Jones

John (J.J.) Jones, age 61, was born in Dallas, Texas on January 5, 1953 to Frank B. and Marie Jones. He married Yvonne Turner Jones on April 17, 1982, and they were blessed with the birth of their one son, Travis Wayne Jones, in 1986.
John passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 while a patient at Medical City Dallas.
John was preceded in death by his father, Frank Bell Jones of Dallas, his mother, Marie Donworth of Irving, his sister, Karen Roberson of Monroe, Washington, and his brother, James Jones of Frankston, Texas. John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Yvonne Jones of Garland, and his son, Travis Jones of The Colony, his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Tom Coghlan of San Antonio, his brother and sister-in-law, Joe Frank and Virginia Jones of Cypress, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will come together to celebrate John's life at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, Texas.
