John Richard Haubrich

John Richard Haubrich, age 67 of Rowlett, TX passed away July 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Marjorie Haubrich and brother, Dan Haubrich. John is survived by his wife, Pat; children, Staci Hanna-Souther (Tracy) and Brett Hanna (Kim); beloved grandchildren, Tucker Souther, McKenzie Souther, John Wesley Hanna and RyAnn Wyrick. Also left to mourn his passing is special sister-in-law, Marilyn Haubrich and cousins, Sue and Dick Rice of Kinosha, WI, along with numerous extended family and friends.John was born on August 13, 1948 in Dallas, TX. He grew up in Garland, TX and graduated from South Garland High School. John obtained an Associates Degree from El Centro College and was a graduate of Southwestern School of Banking at SMU. Throughout his long banking career, he was involved with many service organizations including Garland Chamber of Commerce, Garland West Kiwanis Club, Garland YWCA, Home and Apartment Builders Association and Leadership Garland. At John's request, there will be no formal service, however, there will be a gathering for family and friends at a later date to remember all the good times they shared with John. Should anyone choose to send a remembrance, the family requests donations to a local COPD research organization or a charity of your choice.
