Pastor John Clifford (Cliff) Gall, age 83, stepped into eternity to be with his Lord unexpectedly on Friday evening, March 1st, 2019, his wife and daughter holding his hands and surrounded by loved ones at Medical City Plano.
Pastor Gall (Daddy, Grampy) was a Native Texan, born in Beaumont, TX on August 30th, 1935, to Mattie Sue Mix Gall and Tobias Gall.
Pastor Gall was introduced to the love of his life, Helen Gall, at a youth rally in Orange, TX in 1961. The two were married on August 18th, 1962. Pastor and Helen Gall shared nearly 57 years devoted to God, each other, family & ministry, desiring to be an example of love and faithfulness. From that day forward they became a team in ministry.
Pastor Cliff Gall was ordained at 16 through United Gospel Tabernacle and began his college career at Lamar University in Beaumont, before transferring to Southwestern Bible Institute (now SAGU) to complete his bachelor's degree in 1956. He worked at Neches Butane in Port Neches until 1972. Cliff pastored at 3 different churches in Texas (Life Assembly in Nederland, 1st Assembly in Aransas Pass, and Parkdale Assembly in Beaumont) from 1956 - 1983. Pastor Gall was then called to Maine, where he served at Searsport Full Gospel Church until moving back to Texas to be closer to family in late 2014.
Pastor Gall was a faithful servant of God, who devoted his life to his ministry, winning countless lives for Christ. Pastor Gall was kind, generous, loving, and gracious. He lived every part of his life displaying the type of unconditional love that reflects Christ. He lived life fully and did so fully blessed. He performed wedding ceremonies for several members of his own family, including both of his children, 2 of his grandchildren, cousins, nephews, and countless others in his church family and community. Pastor Gall's life was a blessing that continues to live on in the many hearts he touched.
Pastor Gall is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jasper Tobias (J.T.) Gall. He is survived by his wife, Helen Gall, daughter, Dayna Goodwin, son, Ronny Gall and his wife Casie, 8 grandchildren (Kevin Goodwin, Michael Goodwin and his wife, Marley, Jennifer Brandhorst and her husband, James, Tyler Gall, Alexa Gall, and Laci Gall,) 2 great granddaughters (Colbie Goodwin and Callie Goodwin,) sister-in-laws Iris Gall and children, (Greg Gall and his wife, Gloria and family, Bryan Gall, Lisa Smedley and her husband, Darrell and family,) Janette Risner and husband, Charles and their son,( Jason Risner and family) brother-in-law Raymond Joiner and wife, Becky and family ( Brian Joiner and family, Craig Joiner and wife, Alisha, Danielle & Greg Robbins and family, Brandon Soileau). He is also survived by many others, nieces and nephews and their children, who were more like children and grandchildren, and numerous others that he claimed as his own family.
Come celebrate the life of Pastor Cliff Gall, a life very well lived. Visitation will be Friday night, March 8th from 6 - 8pm at Charles W. Smith Funeral Home in Sachse, TX. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 9th at 10:30am at Northplace Church in Sachse, TX. The services will be streamed at http:// live.northplace.tv . Graveside service will be in Port Neches, TX at Oak Bluff Memorial Park inside the mausoleum on Sunday, March 10th at 2pm.

This ministry epitomizes what their dream was, to mentor and train rural pastors from the heartland of America.
