John L. Burrage, Jr., 63, died peacefully at home on October 25, 2015, after his long battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Rucks Burrage; and his sons, Bradley and Ryan Burrage of Sachse; his mother, Edna Burrage Yowell and step-father, Frank Yowell of Waco; and his sister, Janet Burrage Grigsby, her husband, Bill Grigsby, and their son, Brett Grigsby of San Antonio.
John is predeceased by his father, John L. Burrage, Sr. John was born in Waco on April 3, 1952.
He enjoyed time with his family in church activities and was an avid enthusiast of hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or Buckingham United Methodist Church, 1212 W. Buckingham Road, Garland, Texas 75040.
