Joan Arlyn Crawford, 67, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away at home on Saturday, January 18, 2014 after a heroic battle with lung cancer.
Joan was born on December 18, 1946 in the Seattle Naval Hospital. She graduated from Highline High School and attended Eastern Washington University as a vocal music major where she met Mike, her husband of 45 years.
Joan will be remembered for her work with learning disabled children, her beautiful voice, and her incredible ability in the kitchen as a gourmet cook. Her ability to replicate recipes and serve family and friends fantastic meals gave her great pleasure.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Crawford; her daughter, Stefanie Marsden; son, Sean Crawford; three grandsons, Michael Marsden, Ethan Marsden and David Crawford; and two brothers, Kevin Gregg and Neil Gregg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the DCCCD Foundation, Richland College Joan Crawford Memorial Music Scholarship Fund or Faith Presbyterian Hospice.
