Jo Ann Hamilton, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020. Just as she was in life, she departed this Earth surrounded by a family of people who loved her dearly.
Born on September 7th, 1936, to a loving couple, Gerald and Johnie Meredith of Mesquite, Texas, she entered this world with the same vibrant spirit that she left with. She had three older brothers, Wendell Meredith, James Meredith and Guy Meredith, all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles R. Hamilton Jr.; her son Gerald W. Cooley and wife Sherri; daughter Sherryl Bright and husband Mark; son, Mike Hamilton and wife Yvonne. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Candace, Christie, Bonnie, Russell, Tucker, Lacey, Kayla, Karli and Benjamin, as well as 6 great-grandchildren. Jo Ann is also predeceased by her sons Donald F. Cooley Jr and Charles R. Hamilton III.
Visitation with family will be Monday, August 10th, 2020 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
