Forever In Our Hearts


On Sunday Nov. 29th, 2015, Jimmy Villarreal Jr. 81, of Farmersville, Texas peacefully departed for heaven surrounded by loved ones.



Born in Robstown Texas Jimmy was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather & great-grandfather.



Jimmy is survived by his faithful wife, Rita Childers, his children Rachal Andruszkiewicz (Larry), Santiago Villarreal (Debbie) and Sylvia Villarreal (Chris), his sisters Carolina Trevino, Louisa Guerra, numerous nieces, nephews, Rodney Smith (Rene), Randy Smith, Elizabeth Melendez, Gracie Trevino, Anna Villarreal Wilson Lowing, Emma Ayala and other relatives. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Dominga Villarreal, his sister Maria Villarreal and his grandson, John G. Hernandez.



Jimmy moved to McKinney Texas in the 70’s to be near his parents. When he was young, Jimmy was very active playing in sports and recognized for his outstanding athletic abilities. He was a kind hearted man who was bilingual and enjoyed making new friends.



Jimmy was a retired Air Force veteran who joined the service when he was 18 years old. Through his hard work and dedication he was quickly promoted to Master Sargent and served overseas for many years. Jimmy traveled the world to serve his country, stationed in strategic places such as Greenland, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam and Guam.



After he retired, he was voted Commander in Chief at the VFW in McKinney, Texas.



He loved to laugh and he loved to dance. His passion for life was shared by his caring wife Rita of 12 years. They were married on January 1st, 2004 and have always been together in love and life.



Jimmy loved living in Farmersville. He cherished his home and would sometimes just sit on the porch enjoying the evening with Rita and a glass of tea. How he loved his time spent outside and was so grateful to be there.



Anyone who ever met Jimmy, especially in the last 12 years, knows how much he adored Rita his wife who took great care of him and gave him a new outlook on life. He was the sweetest man and a sharp dresser too! Everyone loved his smile and his style…….he will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.



Please join us in honoring our loved one, Jimmy Villarreal Jr. as we celebrate his life and victory.


Services will be held at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Chapel in Princeton Texas.


Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday December 1, 2015


Funeral Service will be held Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 2:30 pm. He will be buried in Farmersville, Texas with full Military Honors.
