Jimmy Roberts

Jimmy Glenn Roberts, age 53, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at PAM Rehabilitation in Allen, TX. Jimmy was born on February 19, 1967 in Dallas, TX to Jimmy and Janice Roberts. He graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School, Dallas, TX in 1985.During all 4 years of high school, Jimmy played baseball, was a member of the varsity baseball team 83-85 as a catcher, and was a bi-district finalist in 1984. After high school, he went on to received his Associate's Degree in Applied Science.

Jimmy married Erin Roberts on June 2, 2007, they were married for 12 years, and resided in Garland, TX.

Jimmy worked as an IT analyst for Guide IT in Plano, TX for 4 years. Jimmy loved fishing, playing golf, coaching little league, and just being with his family. He was an easy-going person, and always seemed to put a smile on everyone's face no matter who he met or where he was. He had a love for things such as Bigfoot and sharks, and could never watch enough of the History channel. Jimmy was a long-time member of Oates Drive Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX, where he was actively involved in the children's ministry with his wife.

Jimmy is survived by his wife; Erin Roberts, daughter; Shyenne Parker and her husband Ryan Parker; daughter and son, Briana and Davis Moore; grandson, Rex Parker; parents; Jimmy and Janice Roberts; brothers, Joseph and Jeffrey Roberts; mother- in-law Mary Burt; father-in-law Steve Newman and spouse Suzanne Graham; brother-in-law Steven Newman, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and other friends and family.
