Jerry Alton Kiser of Princeton, Texas, well known Upholsterer in Collin County since 1969, passed away at his home at age 71 Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. due to complications after suffering from a stroke. Jerry was born in Levelland, Texas October 6, 1941. He proudly began serving the United States Marine Corps in 1961 and was honorably discharged as Lance Corporal E3 on August 18, 1967.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years 5 months, Ausetta Irene Kiser, three children, Jerry Alton Kiser, Jr. (Rusty), Veronica Kaye Eastham and Rodney Wayne Kiser, all of Princeton, Texas; five grandchildren, Christopher Kiser, Amberly Slavens, Kimberly Kiser, Johnathan Beck and Darryl Eastham, six great-grandchildren, Autumn, Mackenzie, Emily, Brayden, Lucas and Levi. Also surviving is one sister, Barbara Levacy and one brother Lynn Kiser, both of Levelland, Texas.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia Pauline Herrington Kiser and Alton Wesley Kiser, two brothers, Jerrel and Larry Kiser and great-granddaughter, Lily Kiser.
The family will receive guests at a visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S Tennessee St. McKinney 75069. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing.
