Jeremy Edward Kura, 42, of McKinney, TX, passed away unexpectedly on January 29th, 2019.
Jeremy was born on January 4th, 1977 in Somerville, NJ, to Edward Kura and Suzanne Carey.
Jeremy is survived by his two children, Jillian and Jacob Kura; his mother and step-father, Suzanne and Thomas Carey; his father, Edward Kura; his sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Jose Rodriguez; nieces and nephews, Dylan and Haley Schmidt, and Samuel and Maxwell Rodriguez; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Florence Kura; his maternal grandfather Bud Cherwinski, and uncles James Kura and Lance Cherwinski.
Jeremy loved playing the guitar, camping, swimming, football, shooting pool and spending time with friends and family.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Jeremy's life on Thursday, February 7th at 6:30 pm at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in McKinney, with a reception immediately to follow at the Carey residence.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Jeremy's name to the Salvation Army on Wilson Creek Parkway in McKinney, TX.
