Jeffrey Franklin Payne, age 61, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, in Nevada, Texas, surrounded by his devoted family.

Born in Newark, Ohio, Jeffrey spent his early years in Newark and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, places that shaped his life and passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A devoted family man, Jeffrey cherished time spent with his loved ones andwas known for his unwavering dedication to those he held dear. His adventurous spirit fueled his love of travel, and his heart was often found in the rhythms of classic rock music. Jeffrey had a remarkable 40-year career in the metals industry, where he earned the admiration of colleagues and customers alike through his professionalism, dedication, and tireless commitment to excellence. With a sharp sense of humor and a generous heart, Jeffrey brought light and laughter to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sondra; daughter, Annika, son, Anderson, son Brandon (Mandie), granddaughter, Parker; parents, Victoria Seckel & Franklin Russell Payne Jr.; sister, Sandra (Wayne) Helm; nieces, Emily and Ella Helm; aunt, Elizabeth (Tom) Braun; cousins, Rafe (Lisa) Knox, Heather Knox, Phoebe (Brett) Fraser and numerous extended family members. Jeffrey was proceeded in death by his beloved grandparents, Raymond F. & Mary T. Brittain and Franklin R. Sr. & Hilda Payne as well as aunt and uncle, Squire and Alexandra Knox.

Jeffrey’s memory will endure in the hearts of his family, friends, and those fortunate enough to have known him.
